The American Diabetes Association, San Francisco Bay Area Office is a proud Community Partner of SOYFFL. Our mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. In our communities, the SF Bay Area Office of the American Diabetes Association seeks to partner and collaborate with organizations such as SOYFFL in an effort to increase awareness about the seriousness of diabetes, how every 26 seconds someone is diagnosed with Diabetes – of whom a growing number is our youth. We seek to educate, motivate, and inspire individuals, families, and especially youth to make wise choices regarding nutrition and exercise in an effort to prevent and/’or delay the onset of Diabetes.
